Tester App Terms
Last updated: 06.10.2026
HeroTester programme | Version 1.1
1. Who we are
These Terms govern the HeroSwipe tester app and HeroTester rewards programme. The operator is HEROSWIPE spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, ul. Ignacego Mościckiego 1, 24-110 Puławy, Poland; KRS 0001184316; NIP 5214126072 ("HeroSwipe", "we", "us"). Contact: [email protected]. Account deletion: [email protected].
2. Joining and using the app
You must be at least 18, live in a supported country and maintain only one user account. Give accurate information, keep your login details secure and do not share or transfer your account.
Joining and taking tests are free. You need a compatible device meeting the requirements shown before download, internet access and a working email address. Your network charges remain your responsibility. Install required security updates and report suspected account misuse.
The agreement begins when you accept these Terms and complete registration, including any requested verification, and continues until ended under these Terms. You may save these Terms or request a copy by email.
3. Taking part in tests
Tests ask for your genuine opinions about products, images, packaging, advertisements and other concepts. They take place in the HeroSwipe app, not on the marketplaces they may resemble. Participation is voluntary: you may decline a test, and no number of invitations or level of earnings is guaranteed. Eligibility depends on your profile and each study. You may skip optional profile questions, although this may affect matching.
4. Earning points
You earn 100 points for downloading the app and creating your account (once), 100 points for each properly completed test, and 50 points for each profile question answered (once per question, up to 22 questions).
Test instructions and reward conditions are shown before tests begin. Points do not depend on giving a positive opinion or choosing a preferred answer. Additional promotional bonuses have separate conditions disclosed before participation in the relevant promotion; they cannot reduce rewards already earned.
5. Redeeming rewards and point expiry
The minimum redemption balance is 3,000 points. Points are exchanged for available vouchers or rewards in the app; they are not paid in cash. The applicable market is identified before you earn points: 100 points equal PLN 0.50 in the PLN programme, EUR 0.25 in the EUR programme or USD 0.25 in the USD programme. Currency values describe separate market programmes, not a currency-exchange option.
The redemption screen identifies the available reward, provider, delivery time and any applicable fees, restrictions or voucher expiry before you confirm. Where Tremendous is used, its relevant terms are provided at that stage. HeroSwipe remains responsible for fulfilling the rewards it promises.
Unredeemed points expire after 12 months of account inactivity. Any account activity, such as completing a test or earning points, restarts that period. Points below the redemption threshold remain on your account, subject to this expiry rule.
6. Fair participation and restrictions
Do not create duplicate accounts, impersonate others, submit unlawful content, manipulate results or rewards, or use bots or AI to fabricate responses. Accessibility tools are permitted.
In the event of a confirmed breach of the rules, we may reject the affected responses or withhold related points. We may restrict or close an account for serious or repeated abuse, a security risk or a legal requirement. Measures must be proportionate. We explain the reason and offer human review on request, unless disclosure is legally restricted. A disagreement with your opinion alone is not grounds for a penalty. Unrelated, legitimately earned rewards are not automatically forfeited.
7. Test materials, responses and privacy
Test materials belong to HeroSwipe or their rights holders. Do not copy, publish or disclose non-public test materials without permission, except where legally permitted, including to obtain advice or report concerns.
You retain any rights in your responses and grant us a non-exclusive licence to reproduce, analyse and otherwise use them to conduct studies, prepare aggregated research reports, and develop, train, test, evaluate and improve HeroSwipe algorithms and artificial intelligence or machine-learning models used in our services. This licence does not override your data-protection rights or any legal restrictions on the use of personal data.
Profile, response and behavioural data may be used to match studies, analyse results and, where applicable, develop, train, test, evaluate and improve HeroSwipe models, recommendations and analytics. We may combine data from multiple users and studies for these purposes. Business customers receive aggregated findings and demographic insights, not your identifying details. The separate Tester Privacy Notice explains the categories of data used for AI and model development, the purposes and legal bases of processing, service providers, retention periods and your rights. Accepting these Terms is not blanket consent to marketing or optional user tracking, and where applicable law requires consent for a specific processing activity, we will request it separately.
8. Leaving and deleting your account
You may stop participating at any time and request account closure in the app or at [email protected]. After any necessary ownership verification, we deactivate the account for 7 days (168 hours). We confirm the exact permanent-deletion deadline and time zone by email.
To cancel deletion, email the same address before that deadline. A valid cancellation received in time stops deletion even if our acknowledgement comes later. Otherwise, the account is permanently deleted and cannot be reactivated. Uninstalling the app does not delete it.
Account closure does not itself waive an existing points or reward claim. Contact us about outstanding rewards. Personal data is erased or irreversibly anonymised, except for records lawfully retained as explained in the Tester Privacy Notice. The 7-day period does not delay a valid GDPR erasure request, marketing opt-out or consumer withdrawal.
9. Consumer withdrawal and complaints
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from this agreement without a reason or charge within 14 days after it begins. Send an unequivocal statement to [email protected] or our postal address before the deadline. Any longer statutory period and any legally required online withdrawal facility remain available. This is separate from the 7-day account-recovery period.
For example: "I withdraw from my HeroSwipe tester agreement concluded on [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Account email: [email]. Date: [date]." A signature is needed only for a paper notice. Using this wording is optional.
Send complaints, including points or reward disputes, to [email protected] or our postal address, describing the issue and the outcome requested. We reply by email or another durable medium within 14 calendar days. Mandatory consequences of a late reply remain unaffected. You may also use available consumer assistance, alternative dispute resolution or court proceedings.
10. Changes, availability and applicable law
We provide the app with reasonable care and legally required updates. Maintenance or security incidents may temporarily interrupt access to the app. Statutory rights concerning service conformity, remedies and liability remain unaffected.
We may change these Terms only for changes in law, necessary security measures or changes to programme features. We give at least 30 days’ advance notice by email, stating the reason and effective date, unless urgent legal or security requirements require earlier action. You may end the agreement before a change takes effect. Changes do not reduce rewards already earned; required consent is obtained separately. Programme closure requires the same notice and arrangements to settle outstanding entitlements.
Polish law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence. Court jurisdiction follows applicable law; no exclusive Polish forum is imposed on consumers.
